2. Cookies and local storage

This site sets no cookies. No cookie banner is required. The browser's localStorage is used solely to remember your colour-scheme preference (light/dark) — stored locally, never transmitted, no expiry. This qualifies as technically necessary storage under § 25 (2) no. 2 TTDSG and Art. 5 (3) ePrivacy Directive.

3. Map service (CARTO)

The coverage-area page displays an interactive map. Map tiles are loaded from CARTO (carto.com), which receives your IP address as part of the tile request. CARTO is GDPR-compliant and processes data within the EU. Underlying map data: OpenStreetMap (ODbL). To prevent tile requests, disable JavaScript.

4. Contact / quote form

We only collect personal data when you provide it — through a quote request or contact form. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR. We retain data only as long as required for processing. Submitting the form constitutes consent to contact you about your project. You may withdraw consent any time by emailing hello@amsel.berlin.

5. Hosting

This website is hosted on our own infrastructure in the EU. Server logs are anonymised and retained for no longer than 14 days. No analytics or tracking services are used. Fonts and scripts are entirely self-hosted; no requests are made to Google Fonts, unpkg, or any external CDN.

6. Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection. Contact hello@amsel.berlin.
